Danica's Doings

Fully immersed in being a tween (but thinking she's an adult), it was a good first year of middle school for Dan. She excelled academically, met lots of new friends and got involved in clubs and activities. And there's certainly no lack lack of drama nor attitude.

Choir
I chaperoned her choir field trip in December where they performed at several nursing homes and stopped for lunch at the mall.
Danica's Birthday Skate
She went old school roller rink style for her 12th party and it was a blast! With London, Shelbi, Cissy, Crosby, Izzy, Ashlyn, Peyton, Adyson.
Alex loves this stuff
A turn in the money grab machine
Linc never left the arcade and went home with 25 sticky hands
High Def
All dressed up for the weekend of events at church for students to grow in their faith.
Spring Break @ Mission Arlington
Proud of her for stepping out and signing up for a mission trip to this Dallas suburb. This group of students from our church put on VBS for kids at different apartment complexes, and her role was leading worship. Loved it!
Lake House Friends
It's more fun at the lake with friends, and Mya and Cissy proved it!
Since it was April, they had the lake to themselves.
These girls fished themselves silly. Dozens caught! And they tubed, and jet skied, played on the mat, kayaked....
A/B Honor Roll
For 1st semester, but she ended the year with all A's!
Cheer
Middle school cheer is serious business! Try outs were a 1.5 week process, with 60 girls trying out for 30 spots. Learning the results:
The beginning of summer was filled with cheer camp, practices and lots of team bonding.
