Accomplished, Amazing and Amusing: All About Alex!

What a significant period this is in Alex's life, full of endings and new beginnings! Here goes...

School's out for summer.. and forever! Once their senior year finals were complete, Alex and Regan, along with 50 fraternity bros and their dates, made their last annual trip to the NC Outer Banks. Such a fun way to close their senior year; they have great memories of this tradition.

🎓 Graduation!

Sadly, GramE Jan and Grandpa Tom had to cancel Alex's graduation trip at the last minute due to Jan's sister's sudden passing 😢. It broke our hearts when Lincoln was too sick to make the trip, too😢. 

But the four of us, along with Grampa Gary, Gramma Cindy, and Grandma Carolyn, celebrated his graduation. Done in three years ✅ with a 3.3 GPA ✅!

🚚 Moving!

In July, Scott and I were honored(?) to be invited to made a trip back to help move the kids into their first 'adult' apartment, a beautiful, brand-new complex with impressive amenities. U-Haul loading, and furniture and grocery shopping kept us busy; they're so happy in their new digs!

💻 Job! 💸

He has a job!! She has a job! They both have jobs! After six challenging months of searching, applying for 1000 jobs, and interviewing 30 times in this tough market, Alex landed the one he wanted! On August 5, he started as a Billing Specialist at Quantix, a supply chain services company for the chemical industry. Among other things, he's excited about the snack room!

And despite landing her job a month before Alex, they both started the same day! Regan is in sales for TEKsystems, a software company.
