We had a follow-up appointment at the face doc and Lex is released to return to normal activities! He still wears his thumb splint and will continue to for some time. He played his first baseball game this week with the splint taped and was able to catch and hit. The Braves lost, so no undefeated title this season! He is very happy to be back to 'normal'.
2- The painting is done
Out with the oak! We finished the fireplace and armoire. I'm burning my painting clothes now.

3- Scott's job is done
He gave his two weeks notice to a Ventura Foods this week. He'll be starting his new job soon; more details coming shortly...
4-The storms are done (for now)
Dallas had 13 tornadoes Tuesday. We had warnings, thunderstorms and hail, but thankfully no twisters.
5- Jesus' words on the cross: "It is Done"
Happy Easter! I am so thankful for what He did for me and you.
Some family news: Gram E's nephew Chad who was involved in the skydiving accident was accepted and transferred (via private jet!) to Shepherd Center, a hospital in Atlanta. It is one of the top rehabilitation hospitals in the country for spinal cord injuries; this is great news!
Lastly, our prayers are with Grandma Carolyn as she mourns the passing of her younger brother, Ronnie. We were hoping she'd visit for Easter however she and her mother may be traveling to Missouri for his services.
